We have decided to cater for events only. In these difficult times, one has to be flexible and work together. Various restaurants are closed by or there is an option for self-catering at GUBAS DE HOEK meet eat sleep.
Join us for a German South African Christmas.
South Africans celebrate Christmas in much the same way as we Germans.
We spread good cheer, enjoy Christmas traditions – like baking cookies – decorate our homes. Join up with friends and reconnect with family we might not have seen for most of the year, enjoy a delectable dinner, sing Christmas carols, behave more generously than usual, and wrap presents for under the tree.

The corona pandemic has thrown our travel plans upside down. We were neither allowed nor wanted to travel abroad. But that gives us the chance to discover the treasures on our own doorstep.
